Soup Recipes

Twisted Vegetable Soup
I 14 oz can Yellow Hominy
2 12 oz cans vegetable stock
3 Cups Water
1 cup diced white or sweet onions
1 cup diced green or sweet bell peppers
1 12 oz can of Black Beans
1/2 cup brown or white (uncooked) Minute Rice
1 cup of diced carrots
2 tbs Twisted Seasoning
1.Cup Chipotle Twist Salsa
6 tbs Twisted Sauce.

Drain the canned veggies. Hold back the Black Beans & Twisted Sauce. Pour all other ingredients into a large stock pot and bring to a bowl.  Stir while boiling.  Then turn down to simmer. Add Black Beans.
Simmer for about 50 minutes stirring occasionally.
Serve in soup bowl with Tortilla Chips.  Add one tablespoon of Twisted Sauce to each bowl before serving,  Serves 6 to 8.
Want meat.  Use Chicken stock and add 2 Cups diced chicken (about one large chicken breast) OR Use Beef Broth and add 2 cups sliced sweet Italian sausage (about two sausages).

“Twisted” Pumpkin Soup 

1- 16 oz can of Pumpkin (no spices),

1  Tbs Twisted Seasoning

1  Jar Peachy Twist Salsa. 

Instructions: Pour canned unseasoned Pumpkin) into a cooking pot. Then add 1/2 - 16oz jar (1 cup) of Peachy Twist Salsa. One Tablespoon of Twistd Seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.  Serve with a tablespoon of plain Greek yogurt or sour cream and a sprinkle of Twisted Seasoning.  Serves 6 to 8

Peachy Twist Snacker 
1 8oz container spreadable low fat cream cheese
1 16oz jar of Peachy Twist Salsa
Remove the Cream Cheese from container and place in the center of a serving plate or bowl with sides. Make a deep well / indentation in the center of the cream cheese.
Pour Peachy Twist over the cream cheese.

Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers. Serves 10 -12

Twisted Guacamole
4 ripe medium avocados
1 Cup Chipotle Twist Salsa
2 tbs Lime juice
1 tbs Twisted Seasoning
1 1/4 Cup Chopped Cilantro

Scoop out the avacaodos and place into a mixing bowl.
Add the Cilantro & Chipotle Twist Salsa and hand stir. Chunks are OK. When blended add Twisted Seasoning & Lime Juice and give a couple more stirs.
Place in serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve with pita chips or crackers.
Serves 6 to 8
Twisted Hummus
2 - 15 ounce cans of Garbanzo beans / chickpeas
1/2 cup Lemon juice
1 cup Chipotle Twist
1 Tbs Twisted Seasoning
2 Tbs Sesame oil
2 Tbs Olive oil
1/4 cup of Twisted Sauce
Drain garbanzo beans / chickpeas. 
Combine remaining ingredients in blender or food processor. Add 1/4 cup of Twisted Sauce. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth.

Place in serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve with pita bread, pita chips or crackers. Serves 10 to 12​
