Rice & Pasta Recipes
Three Different ways
4 Cups Brown or White minute Rice.
1 tbs Twsited Seasoning
1 Cup Peachy Twist or Chipotle Twist Salsa
(Third version: 4 tablespoons 1/4 cup of Twisted Seasoning only)
Serves 4 to 8
Cook the rice using directions on the box of minute rice. Substitute any salt for Twisted Seasoning. When using any rice, just follow the directions for cooking with the exception of adding butter, additional salt or Oil.
1. Take 4 cups cooked warm Rice and add 1 cup of Peachy Twist Salsa. Mix together and let sit for 5 minutes. Keep Warm. The rice will pick up all the spice & fruit flavors from the salsa. This is my standard recipe but I always end up adding more salsa. Makes a great side dish for Pork, Chicken, Fish or vegetables.
2. Take 4 cups cooked warm Rice and add 1 cup of Chipotle Twist Salsa. Mix together and let sit for 5 minutes. Keep Warm. The rice will pick up all the spicy Smokey flavors from the salsa. Makes a great side dish for Beef, Chicken or Mexican cuisine.

Twisted Pasta & Sauce
with Twisted Variations
1 cup of Chipotle Twist Salsa (substitute Twisted Sauce for hotter version)
2 - 15 oz cans of diced tomatoes (any flavor you like)
1 - 8 ounce can Tomato paste
1 - 16 package of Pasta (Angel Hair pasta or Rotelle "Twisted" pasta) Whatever you like
2 tbs Twisted Seasoning
2 tbs Olive Oil
2 tbs Butter
In a medium pot (not the same pot as the pasta) place the tomatoes, 1/4 water and Tomato paste in the pot on a medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes stirring every few minutes. Do not Burn. This will be more of a marinara Thin sauce that will not cover the pasta thickly. Put Hot sauce in a serving bowl.
Follow directions on the Pasta for cooking. After cooking drain but do not run cold water on pasta. Place warm pasta in a large serving bowl and add Twisted Seasoning, Olive Oil and Butter. Mix around until butter is melted and pasta is coated. At this point the Pasta can be eaten as is. But you made sauce. Add Parmesan cheese to your liking.
Serves 4 to 6
Twisted Variations: Add 1/4 cup Twisted Sauce. Add Sweet or Mild Italian sausage to the Sauce while cooking will add 5 more minute to cooking and more flavor. Add mixed fresh Veggies or thawed frozen (Cauliflower, Broccoli, Green Beans, Squash or Zucchini) to the Sauce when cooking.
I always make mine Twisted with the Sausage and Veggies. If there are any leftovers they are awesome for lunch the next day.
